The Soul Work - What Happens When You Talk About The Things That Matter

In this week’s episode of The Soul Work I explore what happens when you talk about the things that matter.

Watch this week’s episode if you want to:

  1. Stop talking about the weather, bin collection day and other superficial small talk
  2. Talk about the things that matter to you and have a REAL conversation
  3. Reconnect to who you are and deepen your relationship to those around you

Have you noticed that you don’t have as many real conversations with people as you used to? We are becoming more and more distant from each other. We are becoming separated and disconnected from other people.

Social interaction is essential. Humans are highly social beings. When you feel disconnected or separated from people, it can have a serious impact on your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

I did some research and found that 42% of gay men and 70% of lesbians experience mental health issues, compared to 25% of the wider population. AND have you noticed the rise in suicide rates, especially amongst young men?

One of the key risk factors with suicide and self-harm is social isolation.
