- Raise your awareness. Keep a thoughts diary for 3 days. Note down all the positive and negative thoughts you have.
- Take a look to see what your triggers are to toxic thoughts. What situations, people, circumstances take you into a fixed mindset?
- Which of these toxic thoughts are the most persistent for you? Choose the top 2 or 3.
- Identify a positive thought you will replace these 2 or 3 toxic thoughts with.
- Use positive thought replacement – replace those 2 or 3 toxic thoughts every time you think them with the positive alternatives.
Your thoughts are hugely powerful. They will shape your life. You are in total control of them.
It is time to clean up your thoughts and become the best thinker you can be.
By doing so you will re-connect to your authentic self and live your life more consciously.
